Boston Butt Sale to Raise Scholarship Funds

July 13, 2007

The Panhandle Seminole Boosters Club is currently pre-selling smoked Boston Butts through August 22, 2007 to support their Annual Scholarship fund. These tasty pork butts range from 8 to 10 pounds and will ready for pick up in time for Labor Day weekend (August 30).

The Club holds two annual events (spring golf tournament and Boston Butt sale) to raise scholarship funds and help local students to attend Florida State University. The 2007 Award winners are April Frith of Clarksville, and Samantha Stitely, Stephen Young, and Megan Stewart of Marianna.

Each student will receive a $1000 award from funds raised through these events in the past year by the club, a registered 5013 non-profit corporation.

Support higher education for our local students and enjoy a fabulous smoked Boston Butt on Labor Day weekend. For more information, contact a club director, Joy Hinton (850) 482-3466 or visit Sweet Stuff Bakery on Jackson Street.
